Welcome to Biology! I hope this is going to be a fun semester. We are going to learn about many topics during this course including cells, photosynthesis and respiration, ecology, classification of organisms, and even immunity. This course is difficult and requires time outside of class studying key concepts and vocabulary. Although the content is difficult, there are many opportunities for group activites, laboratories, and projects. At the end of this course there is a state mandated EOC exam in which you must achieve a level III or IV. Therefore in addition to content, as a class we will be working on study techniques and test taking skills. Do your best to keep up on notes as well as complete assignments to the best of your ability in a timely manner and you will do great!
